Agree with you to some extent.....no need to stress yourself and mugging up pages after pages to do well in exams....just be casual...
but I also disagree with you...we need to sweat to get rid of all the calories and to keep ourselves fit!! Otherwise we'd become sick and our bodies would be the home of dozens of diseases!!
Re: Your road to fame!!!
i agree with ishita about the disease part of it because i am a perfect example of that sort.lazy hence 100% calories and hence body full of diseases......help!!!!!!!!! ill die soon otherwise.....

Forgiven you..... Actually wouldn't have done so if I had read your post a couple of days earlier.....but the visit to the church mellowed me you know... Re: Your road to fame!!!
Yeah...we're basically pulling the topic right now....as Seamonti corrected pointed out that we have many registered users who do not, at all, visit the forum. I wonder why?? Maybe cause they are more interested in those flimsy stuffs which go on in Orkut and other socializing sites.. Let's just face it..they are not at all interested in their school and since this forum, which is based on our school, doesn't have any cheap but "spicy" things to offers, it's not popular among our school girls. I am extremely frustrated as well as embarrassed on the behavior of our school girls as I feel that they have not received the "LORETO EDUCATION" as yet.
I'm sorry if I have been ruse, but frankly speaking, this is my current idea about most of my school mates. I wonder if any one of you would agree with me on this.

Re: Your road to fame!!!
this is so real true that our school members really are not interested in this forum...they just somehow got registered...thats all they did.
----> by the way through this url you may see aditya kapadia when he was young (very young of about 5-6 years of age or maybe smaller...) although ill try to give the recent photographs of him ...but temporarily i know of this...you must see it hes so cute!!! oh and there are two young boys in the video and which one is aditya kapadia ill tell you:

Re: Your road to fame!!!
Yes Ishita,I completely agree too....I've personally posted the link of this forum in one of the online communities(not mentioning the name, but i think you know!) but Absolutely NOONE has registered I can guarantee you!!! There are only a few of us who actually post something and show that yes we do love our school....Really Ishita, the mentality of the girls have changed so much...they are now sooo engrossed in the chatting sites(really wonder sometimes how they can spend hours chatting rubbish!!( I agree that im a member of the most popular online website,Orkut, but I make it a point to visit that site as seldom as possible!!!!!! When i had first joined,it was all very interesting and stuffs but it has become soooo boring nowadays that i dont even like to reply to anyone!!!! Really,i urge all the memebers of ths forum to kindly participate in the conversations(and please dontgive the excuse that they are not interesting!!!!!!!!!Even if you do say so,WHY dont you start a new topic???)and to liven up this forum!! Please everybody,it is an ardent request..........

Agree!
I agree with Seamonti and Ishita. People are just too busy "socialising" in other websites! If you really are that busy, then we understand. But we all know that except for class tens, most of you are just idle surfing. If you don't like this website then terminate your registration please. We don't want an inactive response (how do you response if you're insctive anyways??). I remember what an inanimate reception the news of our forum received when i announced it to my class. Basically they were just not interested, the ones who had the internet. Its really upsetting to know that you cannot respect your own school, or even the teachers for that matter, because these days I'm hearing bad things being said about good teachers too. Girls please! this is your Alma Mater after all!!
O and by the way, the reason I was absent all this while was because I was unable to connect to the internet (someone actually HACKED into my account! can you believe that?).But now I'm back! And I'll post whenever I get time.

Yeah I just can't imagine what's wrong with the students of the school. Miss, we all know about whom we are talking about, is like a living example of an ideal teacher and as Sreya puts it very correctly..."We worship her"... :)and I can't believe how our juniors, our immediate juniors, are treating her in this manner. Don't they have any culture, any values, virtues or any moralities?? Doesn't they actually see what amount of trouble she takes to ensure the efficient running of the school and she's even more passionate about teaching... and criticizing this particular teacher is almost equivalent to criticizing your own mother as I feel that Miss plays the role of mother at school..so I'm not only disappointed in the girls but deeply disgusted too!!
Re: Your road to fame!!!
The girls these days only like teachers who talk about "lifestyle topics" and give free periods. Any teacher who doesn't comply with their "rules" fail to get into their good books, some are even bold enough to say that to the teachers' faces.
If that is what requires to be a good teacher, then if I ever become one (there is after all no telling what the future holds!), I prefer being a "bad" teacher.
And anyways Ishi, these days, kids don't even listen to their parents, how do you expect that they'll listen to the teachers, even if she is as good as the one we're talkibg about? I think frankly that we're the last batch who really respect her. Just the other day, a girl from my class got scolded by her, but in the lunch time she didn't complain at all, and even agreed that she deserved the scolding! that's what respect means, when you know and acknowledge that the teacher is right. And she should be, after all she's more experienced than any of all, in education and life skills.

Re: Your road to fame!!!
Yes Ishita i agree! When I heard what they have actually written i was extremely shocked and at the same time hurt!! I maynot worship her like you do,but still I love and respect her a lottttttt!!!! She is my second favourite teacher(MS.D.Banerjee is the first as you know! ) So,i really wonder what my classmates are turning into?????can they be soooo inhuman??How can they say such harsh things about a teacher who tries her level best to maintain the discipline of the school, who literally strives to get the best out of her students???? How could they say such things??? I literally felt like slapping them when i heard!Shows how low and mean these people can be.....if they are critising one of the BEST teachers Loreto ever had at the first opportunity, then what will they say about our school and the other teahcers when they finally leave the school for good???????? I really feel like asking them sometimes...their view of a perfect teacher???????Ishita Sen wrote:Sreya Ghosh wrote:Its really upsetting to know that you cannot respect your own school, or even the teachers for that matter, because these days I'm hearing bad things being said about good teachers too.

Re: Your road to fame!!!
I don't know what I should say...but I feel that class 9's (seamonti please note that I'm not saying this about everyone but just the majority) DO NOT DESERVE TO BE IN THE STUDENTS' COUNCIL IF THEY CAN'T SHOW RESPECT TO THEIR TEACHERS. I feel that they've got a long way to go until they become a Loreto girl.. And Sreya and Seamonti, I think you'll agree with me that this time there are many students' council member, not only class 9's but class 10's too, who, if we are suppose to lay emphasis on etiquette, do not deserve to get their position.
Re: Your road to fame!!!
its going to be veryy difficult!
I ABSOLUTELY agree with you Ishita....it is very true.....!!!!!!!!!!! And, yess, majority of us DONOT know how to respect ur seniors.....the way they argue and make sarcastic comments about their seniors...really it is a matter of shame! If they cannot respect the students who are senior to them, they surely cannot respect their teachers......There are very few true Loreto girls nowadays....veryy few!Noone is loyal to anyone anymore,i guess....i really really regret it...let's see Ishita, let us atleast endeavourto brbing a change...let us try atleast!!!! remember our oath?????? "to maintain the high standards of the school to uphold its ideals and traditions???" atleast lets try.....Ishita Sen wrote:I don't know what I should say...but I feel that class 9's (seamonti please note that I'm not saying this about everyone but just the majority) DO NOT DESERVE TO BE IN THE STUDENTS' COUNCIL IF THEY CAN'T SHOW RESPECT TO THEIR TEACHERS. Re: Your road to fame!!!
Good for you Seamonti, I'm impressed with you. nice that you remember the oath. But frankly speaking, about respecting seniors, I personally do not urge them to respect me as a senior. If they do, it's alright but if not (and I'm quite sure that no one does respect us, this time speaking on behalf of sreya too), I won't ask for their respect. I don't need it actually..but I really hate the way they dis-respect the teachers...I don't mind if you all don't respect your seniors cause you aren't getting any favor from them (and "favor" is particularly the cause why they respect or rather pretend to respect people) but please do show some respect for your teachers because I'd like to see where you all would land up without their guidance.
And regarding the oath taking, I'll say, and I bet sreya will agree, that last year we hadn't given our best. There had been times when I had been selfish or lazy but I never dis-respected any teachers...as I had been taught at a very young age that teachers in a school are equivalent to the gods in a temple, so if you dishonor them, your prayers to the god won't yield any results. I know that if I try telling this to my juniors, they'll probably laugh at me and think that I'm a prototype of ideology but I don't care because if being smart means to give up my moralities, then I'm better off clinging to my ethics!!
(and sorry if I've used american spelling because in my computer the spellings are automatically converted to American spellings!! )

Re: Your road to fame!!!
good topic.about respecting and the decline in the civic standards of our school. well talking about respect its a thing that we ought to have learnt from the beginning of our school journey but now in todays world....only a small percentage of people actually do respect each other...not only teachers or seniors..we ought to respect everyone actually. and secondly i wonder why our school standard has gone down so much...maybe because we the students have changed drastically...but its not our fault..maybe i think its the fault of the age we live in...and one thing about chatting i would like to add : " please girls do not chat. dont kill your time." im extremely sorry if i said something wrong or went against someone...but i just added my own views to this thread.and about the chat thing well i know that i have no business to enter into someone's private life ...but i said that from experience..hope you understand everyone.
i hope i respected everyone.
i hope i respected everyone.
