As for me im a pure pure pureee Ghotiii!!!! I cannoooottt tolerate bangal bhasha!!!!!!!!!!!! Ghotider joy hok!!

Remember people, first you are a citizen of the world, then you are citizen of your country, then comes your religion, then gender, and then finally your clan- that's the order of your identity. Really this is disturbing, Ishita you are my best friend! You don't hear me say or write nasty things about bangals do you? why sre you doing it then? And Seamonti (you thought I was gonna spare you?) please don't say things like that about bangal. You can praise your clan, but don't demean another please. To many people their clans are like their families. If you become an NRI, you will crave the companionship of another bangali, whether bangal or ghoti- this is really true guys, believe me. Its what my uncle says.

Hey Sreya, this whole thread was started on mutual consent......

And Bangal-ghoti rivalry is a part of Bengali Culture....Bengali culture is incomplete without football and bengali football is incomplete without East bangal and Mohunbagan, who are in turn incomplete without their Bangal and Ghoti Supporters....so its like a chain you see...and this type of enmity is found everywhere...you should see the Rivalry between Manchester United supporters and the Liverpool Supporters...both of them are from North England but they hate each other like anything!! Also the Milan competition between AC Milan and Inter Milan and last but not the least the antagonasim of Barcelona and Madrid Supoprters....the Catalans(that's the Barcelona Supporters) get sooooooooo mad at Madristas that they have pled for a seperate country as they refuse to abide by some of the customs of the country which have a Madrid influence on them!!

So you see, compared to all these Bangal-ghoti enmity is healthy!! so ekta kotha bolte chai ami:

Yes Ishita,I agree with you totally!! And Sreya common,Ishita and I are not enemies!!! You should see us in the bus,what a conflict we have regarding this issue,but it all blows over in a second.Its not about hating each other just because of this "bangal and ghoti" separation its just a mutual conflict as Ishita said...a general discussion you can say!!!! It may seem marpit to you but we all mean well!!!!

See Sreya, even the Bangals and ghotis can be the best of friends!!! (well they are the ebst of friends, as long as East Bengal doesn't get beaten my mohunbagan or vice versa!! )

Anyways, considering the degrading conditions of both EB and MB....I doubt that this ghoti Bangal rivalry will last long 'cause I'm quite unsure of the fact as to how long those 2 clubs would last!!
